On February 21, 2026, MEES International School will celebrate its 10th Anniversary at its Hakusan campus in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo.
Founded with a commitment to project-based and inquiry-driven learning, MEES serves children from preschool through elementary. Over the past decade, the school has focused on building a learning environment that nurtures agency, collaboration, resilience, and curiosity through meaningful projects and cross-age interaction. Our approach encourages children to think deeply, work together, and take ownership of their learning in authentic ways.
The 10th Anniversary Festival will feature student project exhibitions, hands-on workshops, performances, and a community second-hand bazaar. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to explore classrooms across our campus, engage with student work, and experience how inquiry and project-based learning unfold in daily practice.
This is an open event for families in Tokyo and anyone interested in learning more about our school. We also warmly invite colleagues, educators, and members of the TAIP community to visit our campus, connect with our team, and celebrate ten years of learning together. It will be a meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas, observe our approach in action, and strengthen professional connections within our community.
