TAIP Board of Directors
Dear TAIP Member School Directors,
I hope you all have had time over the summer to reconnect with friends and family and have returned to a new school year refreshed and rejuvenated.
Last March TAIP held a Director’s meeting as a means to provide an opportunity for us to come together, network, discuss issues we face, and provide support to each other. The numbers that were able to attend were rather small, but I believe the meeting itself surpassed expectations. Those connections made have created a relationship that continues to exist. As Directors our support circles can be quite small, and this is one way that TAIP reaches out and provides an opportunity to create and renew relationships that help support us in our jobs to be the best for our schools.
On Thursday, Nov. 2nd, from 6:00 pm, I will be hosting this school year’s Directors social gathering at Summerhill International School. All member school Directors or their delegated Administrative staff are invited to attend. I hope this timing works well for you and you are able to join us.
Please RSVP by the end of September your intent to attend so that I can properly prepare the refreshments. If you have some topics that you know you would like to share with others, let me know and I will prepare an informal agenda.
I look forward to renewing discussion with those of you who attended last year, and am excited to welcome new Directors into the circle.
We are thrilled to announce the opening of registration for our October 8th Fall Annual Conference at The Montessori School of Tokyo. You can find the details and description in our original post HERE.
Both these incredible presenters will provide an excellent opportunity for professional development. We are doing our best to make as much space as possible for participants, but we believe this event will be popular and would like to encourage members to sign-up ASAP. Seats are limited!
You may sign up at our Event Registration Page. You should receive a confirmation email shortly afterward.
Principals, directors and administrators…PLEASE share this info with your teachers. We are frequently contacted by teachers from member schools asking about these events.
Once again, HERE is the event info and HERE is the registration page. Please don’t delay!
Thank you, and we hope as many of you as possible will find the time to come.

This workshop will focus on helping teachers to effectively implement drama in the preschool classroom and engage students of all personalities and backgrounds. Participants should come prepared to have fun, participate and experience the wonderful world of imagination and how it can be used as an educational resource. This will be a half-day seminar available in both the morning and afternoon.
